Galaxy S20 5G
The New Samsung Galaxy S20 5G
Unveiled at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on 11 February 2020 the Samsung Galaxy S20 was released in the United States on March 6 2020. Offering a new and truly impressive camera system that can output 8K video, with 30x Space Zoom and blazing 5G speeds, the new Samsung Galaxy S20 is the natural evolution in the S model line. The most important upgrades are the Snapdragon 865 processor with 12GB of RAM, a 4,000 MaH battery and an awesome 3200×1440 AMOLED display all resulting in blistering speeds that won’t quit on you even after binge watching your favorite Netflix shows for 5 hours straight. (That’s better than the Google Pixel 4) Speaking of watching TV/Video the 120Hz re-fresh rate of the screen is the new standard because once you get used to it you will not want to go back, ever.
Pricing starts at $999 for the latest Galaxy S20 phone and the S20 Plus will set you back $1,199 with 128GB of storage, though you will be able to upgrade to 512GB for an extra $150.
Samsung says the Galaxy S20 is the start of a whole new generation.
5G is officially rolling out across the nation and promises to deliver mind-boggling speeds and superior connections. But as of the date of this article it’s far from available all over the US, as an example it’s available in New York City but not in San Francisco? So we would not advise buying an S20 or S20 Plus just for 5G because the chances are you might be able to enjoy those blistering speeds just yet.
